the sixth largest island in the San Juan Islands.

San Juan Aviation and Yachting Estates, established in the mid 1950’s is a private community featuring a runway, and a marina with year-round and limited transient moorage. It is located on the northwestern tip of the island. The island is privately owned and has no public access past the boundaries of the marina property.

Blakely Island Maintenance Commission is the governing body for the San Juan Aviation and Yachting Estates, consisting of approximately 137 homes and undeveloped lots. BIMC is governed by a Board of directors consisting of 7 member/owners of the community.
